This might sound like an outlandish idea, but I reckon each post should be checked and cleared before it appears on the site. If a post is obvious spam, like the one ray has forwarded, it gets dealt with by the moderater and doesn't make it onto the site. This could also work for any posts which are offensive (racist, sexist etc). Thankfully I haven't seen any posts like that on this forum.
I know this sounds like a ridiculous amount of workload for the mods but it's just an idea that might put an end to crappy spam posts.

In response to the moron who tried to defend the girl (girls) in question, you really are chatting rubbish. All they are doing as Humilateme said is detracting from their "business".

i've just come back from a few moths away from the forum and i think i'm going to leave again (not that anyone cares about that lol) reason being the forums turned to absolute shite!

pretty much all it is now is for posting caps from shows, all the other threads that used to be really active like the films, music, games threads etc... are all pretty much dead.

the thing is i would've gladly done as you've suggested and worked for free to approve messages etc... but i'm pretty sure the actual admins on this site would hate the idea of anyone doing that, what makes it so funny is that had they had someone or a group of people doing that it might of actually helped them keep the members like myself who used to post a lot and not just for points but all they've succeeded in doing is driving away the members they were so desperate to keep

Problem with this site is really people are visiting just to look and get quick free points. They don't want to contribute anything to the site. Its a shame as it could be so much better

well it did use to be a lot better, but the powers that be were so reluctant to come down hard on the spammers and people just posting pointless crap all the time that it's ruined it.

well some of the time they do ban them but nothing to stop them just creating a new account and coming back again and again and again

but if they had always been a lot stricter about things the forum wouldn't have turned rubbish like it has unfortunately, but they were always more willing to give people the benefit of the doubt unless they did something that was obviously and overtly spamming but if the spammers showed any intelligence at all in how they did it they would let them get away with it, same with people posting in the wrong threads, duplicate threads etc... the reply from admins/mods on the most part was always "go easy on them, it might be the first forum they've ever been on" so apparently if you've never been on a forum it means your eyes don't work and you cant read and follow the rules plus they also seemed to think the first forum people would go to would be a obscure internet webcam porn forum lol

considering how awesome it is that points are free calls and all (i've never seen such a valuable thing given away on any other forum i've been on), there really is not that much spamming. it just goes to show they must deal with it pretty quickly, you couldn't really get like 20 mins worth through spamming. or maybe spammer just aren't committed enough lol

anyway, i think this forum is pretty clean for the most part, well as clean as a forum like this can be what with all the facials gifs etc lol
