Bale will be fine. He's a bright lad, doesn't seem the sort to be crying in to his paella whilst pining over Eastenders and fish and chips. He'll adjust to the culture fine but even if he didn't, he's on so much money he could easily just exist in his own little bubble.
I suspect the reason more British players don't go abroad at a proper early age (like the South Americans) is purely down to the fact that the majority aren't good enough.
