  Hello everyone,
  
  I'd like to apologise to everyone affected by our downtime over the last few days.
  
  Unfortunately the Datacenter in which all our servers were hosted had it's network attacked over and over again, and it took their network engineers a long time to finally fix the issue.
  
  They believe it's now fixed and shouldn't happen again, but just incase it does go down again we've been working on a backup setup hosted elsewhere which we can switch to to prevent length downtime periods in the future.

  Thank you dVIOUS for that information. I have been onto the site and read the engineers report. It is double dutch to me. I have emailed the site and asked if they can do an 'English' report so that it can be understood by laymen. Whether they will or not will have to be seen. The only comment I will make about the down time is that, although I could see the other site being referred to by many people, it wouldn't let me log in or even create a new user. I have reported this to Support but as yet, have had nothing back. Is there any chance you could look into it at all pse and let me know if there is a problem.

  Does it matter really? :P He told us there was a problem and apologised for it :) Nobody needs to start handing out schematics and floor plans ffs :D

  Agreed, cheers for the update dVIOUS, these DDoS attacks seem to be happening a lot more, it happened on a well known escorting/webcamming site a few times too
  
  Who's actually going out of their way to do this sort of thing though?, I mean what's the point?, seriously, especially when there are sites used by paedo's etc, they would surely be a better target
