  OK it was The Larry Sanders Show, it was a parody on the American Chat Show, which i cant stand Leno, Letterman, etc but was a behind the scenes look, most episodes would start with a Star Billy Crystal, Robin Williams n the like but they would only be on for a few seconds, then it was all about Larry and co back stage, Arty was the producer {played by Rip Torn} and Larry relied on him to get him out of the shit! there was just enough swearing in it to make it work, not over the top, just a well placed fuck/shit/bastard here n there, sounds a bit crap here but it was good! Anyway the next one..... 'Harold the horny hunter, had an enormous horn'

  I've heard of The Larry Sanders show mate, just really never watched it. Another one I'll have to try to watch out for amongst re-runs etc... lol...
