  It is set by Phone Pay Plus who regulates the premium rate service lines. They have a code of practice that if a company ignores, they will lose their right to the numbers, which would kill Rampant off if they did as not everyone is going to be happy sticking the bill on their cards.
  
  Other lines do have an option at the end of the disclamer saying next time you can press 'X' button to skip. Not sure how that stands with the regulators or if that could be made possible on Rampant.
  
  However, Rampant are a business, and here to make money, and while you are listening to that disclamer you are paying 75p/£1.53 per minute to listen to it, so there is benefit to them if they cut it out.

  Thanks 10bal01. Rules are rules and Rampant does offer a good service most of the time and quite unique in terms of quality and accessibly. It would be wrong to challenge or violate the rules for a principle which might take away the service.

  Lets see if i can explain this and have it make sense, you are limited to a certain amount of points within a 24 hour period once you have reached that you will no longer get points for your posts until 24 hours after you got your first point, so say your first post that got you a point was 1pm, once you got your allowed points within the 24 hour period you won`t get points for your posts again till 1pm the next day (that or you haven`t had 140 characters in your posts, minimum of 140 characters in a post to get a point, to stop people just posting one word for a point).

  I have just skipped through this thread to see how I can redeem points, but nowhere in it did I see the answer! Also, someone suggested that you could only get a certain number of points in one 24 hour period, but didn't say how many that was. Help please?

  Every 24 hours a standard members can get up to 20 points which adds to 140 in a week, whereas VIP's get 30 adding upto 210, points are auto-redeemed every tuesday at midnight or on wednesday morning
