QPR: Simpson In/Cisse Out
StrumSolo > 28/06/2013, 12:30
Danny Simpson, the 26 year-old Newcastle right-back will sign a 3 year deal with QPR once his contract expires on July 1st.
Djibril Cisse is on his way out though after he and the club terminated his contract by mutual consent. He joins fellow striker Jay Bothroyd in leaving the club after relegation to The Championship.
So I make that just Diakite, Traore, Samba, Ji-Sung, Johnson, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Onuoha, Barton, Boswinga, Mbia, Ferdinand and Young who need shifting now. Easy. -

Danny Simpson is a good signing IMO. surprised he would opt for Championship football as he could easily find another club in the Prem.
QPR need a brand new squad lol clubs run by a bunch of muppets at the moment, they need to get someone in that understands football at boardroom level, although Simpson is good start -

Yeah Simpson's a good player. Definitely bottom of Prem/top of Championship standard.
I suppose Redknapp would fancy himself as the man to look after transfers, whether that'd be wise is another matter. -

SAMBA'S ON HIS WAY TOO
QPR have accepted a £12m offer to sell the defender back to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
Samba joined from Anzhi in January and made 10 appearances as the Rs were relegated.
Reportedly earning £100,000 a week at Loftus Road, the board will be happy to get Samba off the wage bill as they prepare for life back in the Championship. -

He likes a few coaches around him, does Redknapp. Less work innit.
Really can't work that one out though. Maybe 'Arry will move upstairs? He could look after transfers at board level then chub! -

thats what i was thinking, getting Maclaren in before they decide where Harry goes or he moves on.
the strangest part is they signed him on a one month contract. coaches would happily join up with a club for a month without a contract, seems a bit strange that.
oh and LMFAO at Harry being in charge of transfers -

Well he did alright at Pom... Oh.
Talks a good game but is he really up for the Championship? He didn't stick around long at Southampton and that was before he was the saviour of English football.
McClaren could do well though. -

I think McClaren is more suited to QPR than Redknapp to be honest. Redknapp is getting to old for that travel to and from Sandbanks and Shepherds bush. Plus like you said, Championship football isnt really his bag now.
and yes, he did ok with Pompey :D
