Qatar's World Cup organising committee has defended its bid to host the 2022 tournament following newspaper claims casting doubt on the process.
Former Fifa vice-president Jack Warner and his family were paid more than £1m by a company owned by an ex-football official from Qatar, a Daily Telegraph report claims.

The whole world and its dog knows this world cup bid seemed dodgy from the start. Would these allegations have any sort of impact? Is it even possible for Fifa to revoke Qatars bid now if these allegations are true? I suppose Qatar will argue it will effect its economy and money has already been invested so it cannot go to waste etc
