This is a fantastic instalment in the Shrek franchise, and I actually wouldn't mind seeing one centred around Eddie Murphy's Donkey now. The varying conflicts and the core plot of the film is really interesting. The visuals are really good. Banderas and Hayek's chemistry continues to shine since their El Mariachi trilogy days. The supporting voice cast such as Pugh, Winstone, Coleman, Bayo, Mulaney and Moura are all great, but Guillen steals the show as Perrito.
