  MAN CITY v EVERTON
  So what’s happening with Joe Hart then? Is he getting dropped or is Costel Pantilimon just as awful? This is the early kick-off tomorrow so we don’t have too long a wait to find out. Of course, it’s not all about Hart, City have lost 2 in a row and a 3rd could see some of the Moyes treatment heading Manuel Pellegrini’s way. Still, David Silva and Stevan Jovetic are fit, that’s something.
  
  Everton are on fire though, and that new Spanish manager chap quite enjoys trampling on City’s dreams. However, they might struggle to get a midfield together for tomorrow. Gareth Barry’s ineligible, Darron Gibson, Kevin Miralles are doubtful and Steven Pienaar is definitely out.

  I think this has got draw written all over it. Man City will be desperate to stop the rot and Everton are handy defensively so I think they will cancel each other out. That probably means a high scoring victory for everton coz my predictions have been awful this season.

  And here are the previews for the 3pm kick-offs:
  
  CARDIFF v NEWCASTLE
  Not much between these sides (just the one point) but Cardiff will be far happier with their start than Newcastle. The Magpies have lost two on the bounce, and with Cardiff taking 4 points in from their last 3, the initiative is firmly with the home side today. They’ve an almost fully-fit squad to choose from too with Andreas Cornelius the only notable absentee.
  
  Alan Pardew could bring Yohan Cabaye back in after the French midfielder started the defeat at Everton on the bench and Shola Ameobi, Steven Taylor and Jonas Gutierrez are pushing for returns as well.
  
  FULHAM v STOKE
  Neither of these are having the best of times at the moment but Mark Hughes returns to his former club knowing that a win for Stoke could well signal the end for Martin Jol. The pressure is definitely more with the home side for this one and the absence of experienced heads (they all are to be fair) Scott Parker and Aaron Hughes won’t make it any easier.
  
  Jonathan Walters is doubtful for the Potters but Matthew Etherington could feature after recovering from whiplash.
  
  HULL v ASTON VILLA
  Both sides are missing their main goal threats today. Hull will have to do without the injured Robbie Brady, as well as Robert Koren and James Chester, though Paul McShane could feature. Christian Benteke is still injured for Villa too but a scoring turn from Andreas Weimann against Man City last weekend should give Paul Lambert hope. The Austrian is a likely starter today. Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Westwood are fit again and could return to the side.
  
  LIVERPOOL v CRYSTAL PALACE
  It’s likely to be a tough afternoon for Palace as their shakey defence go up against Liverpool’s in-form strike duo of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez. Though they might take some heart from Southampton’s win in the last league game here, the absence of Glen Johnson and Coutinho through injury, and Lucas through suspension could be a boost for them as well.
  
  The Eagles’ have two players out injured, but Ian Holloway won’t say who they are. Crafty. Yannick Bolasie could make his first appearance of the season after injury though.

  City to just about shade it for me, but i don't think Everton will make it easy for them.

  Lively start at the Eithad then. Romelu Lukaku puts Everton ahead but a minute later Negredo goes down the other end and levels it up.

  Bad news for City with Vincent Kompany limping off injured. Nastasic replaces him.
  
  Still 1-1 with 35 mins gone and both sides are looking lively. City are having more of the possession but Everton look a threat on the break.

  Howard gets a hand to it but Aguero's effort just about goes in after ricocheting off the post and the keeper's head.

  Still plenty of time for Everton to make a comeback lol... although City dominating the corner market at the moment with 8-1...
  
  At least it's a decent first game of the weekend and not a damp bore draw...
