  SATURDAY
  
  Southampton v Everton 12:45
  Everton are just about favourites for this (7/5 versus the Saints at 2/1), but when you compare these sides’ recent form and consider that the Toffees are still going for 4th, it’s surprising the gap’s not bigger. The away win then, possibly even with the -1 handicap at 7/2. Or for the same price you can have them to win to nil, which might be the better option given Rodriguez is out and Southampton are struggling for goals. No such trouble for Everton, Steven Naismith’s scoring for fun so get on him at 9/4 in the anytimes.
  Prediction: 0-2 (11/1)
  
  Fulham v Hull
  Hull are still not quite safe and could be dragged in to trouble if they lose this. Fulham are playing well too, but I think the draw (12/5) is the best they can hope for. I say this every week, but it’s got to be Jelavic or Long (both 9/4 anytime) in the scorers, or Rodallega for Fulham at 15/8.
  Prediction: 1-1 (5/1)
  
  Stoke v Tottenham
  You can’t argue with Spurs’ record against teams below them in the table. They’re 11/8 favourites for this and that looks about right to me. Reckon there might be goals too so have a go at 3.5+ at 5/2 and Eriksen to get one of them. He’s in great form at the moment and 3/1 any time looks a steal.
  Prediction: 1-3
  
  Swansea v Aston Villa
  Both could do with another win to ease any lingering relegation fears, but only one of them look like getting it. Home win, 4/6, all day long. Probably a tight-ish one though, so have a think about under 2.5 at 4/6 or Swansea to win to nil at 6/4. First goal Bony (9/2) or maybe even 2+ at 7/1.
  Prediction: 2-0 (6/1)
  
  West Brom v West Ham
  The Hammers look as though they’ve clocked off for the season now, and West Brom should be able to do the same if they can get 3 points here. Can’t see them having too much trouble and the home win at 10/11 is definitely one for the acca. To nil (12/5) might be worth a go too. No scorers jumping out at me so I’ll leave it there.

  Man Utd v Norwich 17:30
  It’s a good time to be Ryan Giggs. He’s not David Moyes (half the battle really) and first fixtures don’t come much more obliging than Norwich at home. No point going with the outright at 2/5 but 5/2 on the -2 handicap seems reasonable enough. Quite like the look of Mata in the anytimes too (7/4), call it a hunch…
  Prediction: 3-0 (14/1)
  
  SUNDAY
  
  Sunderland v Cardiff 12:00
  After taking 4 points in their last 2 games away at Man City and Chelsea you can’t really argue with 10/11 for the Sunderland win. Cardiff need the points just as much though so approach with caution, it could just as easily end up a draw (5/2). For the first goal it’s hard to look past Connor Wickham (9/2) at the moment.
  Prediction: 1-0 (13/2)
  
  Liverpool v Chelsea 14:05
  This ‘weakened’ side Chelsea are on about putting out; it’s gonna be full of expensively procured international talent and there won’t be a single name you haven’t heard of. Still got to go Liverpool for the win (4/6), but don’t be expecting them to walk it. In the scorers, Sterling 5/2 any time looks loads more fun than Suarez at 8/11.
  Prediction: 2-1 (7/1)
  
  Crystal Palace v Man City 16:10
  With the way they’re playing at the moment I wouldn’t be overly surprised to see Palace nick a draw (7/2). May as well go for it because there’s no value to be had backing City. They’re not going to hammer them so the biggest handicap worth taking is the -1. But at 11/10, what’s the point? Get on Puncheon though; he’s 9/2 to chip in with a goal at some stage and looks more than capable at the moment.
  Prediction: 1-2 (7/1)
  
  MONDAY
  
  Arsenal v Newcastle 20:00
  I’ve been pretty cautious when it comes to Arsenal recently but Newcastle at home? Big win! Get on the -2 handicap at 15/8 or if you fancy playing it safer, to nil is 21/20. Ramsey scored last weekend, he’s back, and 15/8 any time. Smashing.
  Prediction: 3-0 (7/1)
  
  ACCA: Outright wins for Everton, West Brom and Swansea, plus Man Utd and Arsenal with -1 handicaps comes out at just under 26/1!
