SATURDAY

Everton v West Ham
The Toffees aren’t in great form and West Ham have won four on the bounce, the away double chance at 7/5 has got to be worth a nibble. 4/1 on a score draw’s not bad either. Lukaku and Carroll are both available again and to score any time they’re EVS and 5/2 respectively. Though given his current form, Nolan at 3/1 looks the best bet.
Prediction: 1-1 (7/1)

Fulham v Chelsea
Chelsea haven’t been scoring much lately, and I can see this one being especially laboured what with it coming so soon after their midweek trip to Turkey. 11/10 on fewer than 2.5 match goals looks reasonable, but under 1.5 wouldn’t surprise me either, and that’s 16/5. 29/20 on them not scoring 2+ is the pick of the bunch though.
Prediction: 0-1 (13/2)

Hull v Newcastle
With Newcastle still stinking the place out, 11/8 for the home win seems awful generous. Jelavic (9/2) or Long (11/2) to score first, and it’s probably worth backing them both at those prices.
Prediction: 1-0 (6/1)

Stoke v Arsenal
I had Arsenal down to struggle against Sunderland last week but they ended up tearing them a new one. Even so, 7/10 for the away win here has a slight whiff of caution about it, and I reckon that’s worth exploiting. Take a look at the -2 handicap at 9/2 or 5/2 on the Gunners scoring 3+.
Prediction: 0-3 (12/1)

Southampton v Liverpool 17:30
Southampton’s recent record against Liverpool is more than decent and I fancy them to get something here. The home win (11/4) seems a bit far-fetched but the score draw’s all good at 3/1. Should be plenty of goals too so have a look at 3.5+ at 29/20. I’m obliged to back Jay Rodriguez for the first goal (15/2), despite the presence of Luis Suarez (7/2) and Sturridge at 4/1 (it’ll probably be him).
Prediction: 2-2 (10/1)

SUNDAY

Aston Villa v Norwich 16:30
Well this is gonna be boring… Draw (23/10)? You could do worse than 17/10 on under 1.5 goals too.
Prediction: 1-1 (6/1)

Swansea v Crystal Palace 16:30
They’ll probably be knackered but I reckon home advantage will just about see Swansea through here. Could be another low-scorer though so once again we’re back with the under 1.5s, 19/10 this time. De Guzman’s in decent form and looks decent value to score first at 11/1.
Prediction: 1-0 (11/2)

Tottenham v Cardiff 16:30
They fucked my acca last week but there’s no alternative to going big on Spurs here. Cardiff are shocking and the home side should be capable of getting past a -2 handicap (23/10). It’s not that I’m recommending it, just that aside from 29/20 on them scoring 3+, there doesn’t seem to be too much value elsewhere.
Prediction: 3-0 (15/2)

Man City v Sunderland 14:00
…and the cup final, in which Sunderland are 9/1 for the win. It’s like last May against Wigan never happened. Worth a quid surely? Yeah alright, City’ll probably win, but you should still have a think about the Black Cats with a +1 handicap at 27/10.
Prediction: 2-1 (8/1)

Danger treble: £5 on draws in the games at Goodison, St Mary’s and Villa Park could return just under £250!

Well a bit of a yawn fest in the PL in the 1st half, as far as goals are concerned, with only Newcastle (who I stay away from now) making inroads.

Half Time Scores;

Everton 0-0 West Ham
Fulham 0-0 Chelsea
Hull 0-2 Newcastle Moussa Sissoko (10 mins) & Loic Remy (42 mins)
Stoke 0-0 Arsenal

There better be goals in the 2nd half or my acca is sunk once again....

Everton are 4/6 for the win now, with Chelsea 8/11 and Arsenal 11/10 - A HT treble on these 3 will be around 5/1, not really worth it based on 1st half performances....

Liverpool could go 2nd this evening with a win over Southampton...
