FT: Liverpool 4-3 Swansea (HT: 3-2)
When Liverpool went 2-0 up inside of 20 minutes thanks to goals from Sturrudge and Henderson, you probably thought, oh here we go, another bag full...
Well a bag full was right, just not as you guessed, Shelvey hit back almost straight away, followed by the equaliser from Bony a few minutes later!!! What was going on? a damn fine match is the answer....
10 minutes later and it back in front for Liverpool with the 2nd from Sturridge, and they take that lead into Half Time.
Not the best of starts to the 2nd half as Liverpool give away a penalty almost straight away, with Skrtel bringing down Bony according to the ref, who points to the spot, and Bony obliges with the equaliser once more...
Fast forward 25 minutes or so and Henderson gets his 2nd to give the home side the lead yet again... Will there be more goals, you would think there might be, but 4-3 it is, another win for Liverpool, not in the way they wanted, but a win nonetheless...
FT: Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa (HT: 0-0)
Newcastle continue to prove that you should stay away from betting on them, which I did, but all my accas were destroyed with yesterdays results!!!!
It was looking like a 0-0 finish when Loic Remy popped up at the death and slammed the ball into the net to get the home win.
