Finished 2-0 to West Ham against Swansea. Jack Colback got a late goal for Sunderland which saw them beat Newcastle 3-0. Massive wins for both sides.
Betting tips for the 3 o'clock kick-offs:
Cardiff v Norwich
Can’t imagine this’ll be a classic either. Norwich have taken 4 points from their last 2 games but let’s not get ahead of ourselves, they’re still pony. Cardiff, despite being bottom of the league, are 5/4 favourites and I fancy them to get the win. Of all their shiny new signings Wilfried Zaha looks most likely to trouble the scoresheet, and he’s 16/5 any time. Have a look at under 1.5 match goals at 9/4 too.
Prediction: 1-0 (13/2)
Everton v Aston Villa
The Toffees are starting to get a bit bogged down by injuries and that pasting at the hands of Liverpool won’t have helped with confidence either. 8/15 for the win seems a bit short, I’m more inclined to go for the Villa double chance at 6/4, or the draw at 16/5. Either way, I reckon there’ll be goals, and 4.5+ at 4/1 looks tasty. In the scorer market you’ll not get better than Benteke any time at 16/5.
Prediction: 2-2 (16/1)
Fulham v Southampton
A Lovren-less Saints defence would generally be a concern but if anything can let in more than that, it’s Fulham. The away win with BTTS is 3/1, I’ll be having some of that. As always, Jay Rodriguez to score first at 6/1 is worth a go too.
Prediction: 1-2 (8/1)
Hull v Tottenham
I’m normally all over a home 1-0 win for Hull but they’ve been pretty awful lately. So, Spurs win, 15/2 with a -1 handicap. Fancy them to keep a clean sheet too, especially at 31/20. Reckon Adebayor will score but that probably wants to be a touch longer than 11/8. For Hull you can get 16/5 on Long and 3/1 for Jelavic. Approach with caution though yeah.
Prediction: 0-2 (10/1)
Stoke v Man Utd
As much as the Britannia is a Difficult Place To Go, I feel like United will ride this Mata-wave for a while yet. Still, we all had a good laugh while it lasted. Expecting an away win (4/7). Nothing spectacular you understand, just by a goal or two. The -1 handicap is 6/4 but I’m not seeing much value beyond that. Mata’s 2/1 to score any time, Van Persie’s 9/10… That’s all I’ve got.
Prediction: 0-2 (13/2)
