Tips for today's games.
Southampton v Tottenham 13:30
A cup game against West Ham should have been the ideal opportunity for Spurs to bounce back from the Liverpool unpleasantness. They didn’t of course, and I don’t think they’ll have much luck at St Marys either. The Saints are actually 6/4 favourites for this one, which says it all really. Should be tight, mind, and BTTS at 4/5 seems likely. In the scorers, Jay Rodriguez loves an early goal so back him to get the first at 13/2.
Prediction: 2-1 (9/1)
Swansea v Everton 16:00
Great start by Everton and all that, and you can see why they’re just about favourites at 29/20, but backing them to win seems a big call. Swansea have improved lately and didn’t have a Europa League game midweek, I reckon they might do it, draw at least. DNB on the home side at 11/10 seems safe enough anyway. I’ll still back Lukaku to score first though, 9/2 for that.
Prediction: 1-1 (11/2)
