RE: Poll: Were England right to get rid of Kevin Pietersen?

this is very sad that cricket had to see one of england finest batsmen in the last few years leave the team. I think it was not a good choice has england already loss swann. But could this lead to more players going or backroom staff changing. We have to see from this view that Kevin Pietersen always changed momentum in the team. -

So now KP will play no further part in an England shirt, it's time for the IPL, and as expected he gets picked again, by the Delhi Daredevils for a nice sum of £880,000 KP for the IPL
And it appears he'll be the only one there Hales & Bell go unsold at IPL auction
That's probably brought a little wry smile to KP, it would if it was me anyway.... -

Disgusting. I hope the whole affair blows up in the ECB's faces-they don't deserve to win games . I've always supported the England team - no more unless they have a change of heart, and I don't think I'll be the only one. They'll probably win the odd one in the year to come because I see they've fixed up some easy opposition. The problem is not TRUST. It's an indecisive captain whose man management skills are ZERO. -

glad they got rid of him - too high maintenance for my liking - he was having too many bad days against good now getting out with his "my way " of playing not a team player - iknow its a weird game that you can do good for yourself and team AND b hatted by your fellow players but for how long... we now know
saying all that great batsman who will be missed - who else is there ?
not the same type at all but i think james taylor of (spit) notts shuld get a long run in test team grat player for (:) ) leics) needs a chance now hes moved on -

I apparently heard that since getting rid of the KP one of the team members has been causing a bit of hassle, and i hear you guys out by the that on a good day hes BOSS but lets see IPL for him was sh*&t in 2013 and then he had a few games were i just stopped watching, i would say it would be best for England to have a new face. :P but that just me. I would say get some Asian player you know what i am saying England would definitely start winning games then. -

Yes, he was clearly a divisive character and they obviously knew Moores was going to come back so couldn't have them both rowing with each other like last time! -

I thought it was unnecessary to specifically single KP out. The whole squad was significantly underperforming so changes needed to be made, and his individual performance wasn't any worse than anyone else. Hopefully their recent win gets the team firing again.
