SATURDAY
Newcastle v Chelsea 12:45
Chelsea have lost on their last two visits to St James'. You'd imagine they'd be better equipped this time, but 1/2 outright isn't much of an incentive. Never know what you're getting with Newcastle either. Diego Costa had a nice rest midweek (suspended), so 3/1 on him scoring first is probably the best you're getting here.
Prediction: 0-1 (11/2)
Hull v West Brom
Between them, these two sides haven't won in their last eleven games. Call it a draw then, shall we? 9/4. Berahino's on a bit of a drought, and you're not going out of your way to spend on anyone else. Leave it.
Prediction: 1-1 (11/2)
Liverpool v Sunderland
In light of the City result I've called off talk of Sunderland going on a mad one against the big boys. Liverpool have won two in a row now as well. 13/10 with the -1 handicap? Maybe, or rather it'll have to be, the outright is 1/2. With one eye on Basel I can see Borini getting a game here, and he's 11/8 to score any time against his former club.
Prediction: 2-0 (5/1)
QPR v Burnley
It's not QPR's home form that's the problem. Burnley are on something of a run of course but at Loftus Road it's got to be Rangers for the win, 21/20 outright. Can see it being a tight one, mind. Under 1.5 match goals is worth a look at 2/1 and Charlie Austin's your man to get it (7/2 first goalscorer). Special mention for Burnley's Danny Ings though. 2/1 any time, completely contradicting everything I've said up until now...
Prediction: 1-0 (6/1)
Stoke v Arsenal
Three Arsenal wins on the spin, what a time to be alive! Stoke are always liable to nick a point (draw's 13/5) but 19/20 on the Gunners outright seems reasonable enough value. Sanchez in the scorers obviously, 7/4 any time.
Prediction: 1-2 (8/1)
Tottenham v Crystal Palace
Palace aren't exactly setting the world alight currently, sure, but 4/7 for the Spurs win? At White Hart Lane? No ta. You'd be better off sticking a couple of quid on the away outright at 11/2. Don't, but you would...
Prediction: 1-0 (13/2)
Man City v Everton 17:30
Toffees are in a right old funk, aren't they? Just as City seem to be getting their shit together too. Let's keep the margins reasonable though. Home win with the -1 handicap is 6/5, and the -2 (pushing it) 3/1, no more. Aguero probably wants to be a little bit longer than 10/3 to score 2 or more, but chances are he will. Deal with it.
Prediction: 3-1 (11/1)
SUNDAY
West Ham v Swansea 13:30
Couple of surprise packages for your consideration, the Hammers just about shading it on both points and shock value. Home advantage too. Can't argue with 13/10 on them winning outright, but it could just as easily be a draw (12/5), couldn't it? Bony's 7/4 to trouble the scoresheet at some point, and seems most likely.
Prediction: 1-1 (11/2)
Aston Villa v Leicester 16:00
They're actually showing this on Sky? Might be a good opportunity to do a bit of Christmas shopping, catch up on some porn perhaps. Going in heavy on the under 1.5 goals at 9/4, with Villa the lucky recipient of 'it' on account of being marginally less shit.
Prediction: 1-0 (7/1)
MONDAY
Southampton v Man Utd 20:00
This was probably the most winnable fixture of Southampton's bastard mini-run, but post City and Arsenal they're without the injured Alderweireld, Schneiderlin, Cork and possibly Tadic. United have got a few out too, but they've also got a few more to step in. Away win (6/4), and possibly even a -1 at 4/1. Struggling to see where the goals are coming from for the Saints, so BTTS/No might be worth a look at 11/10., as might Rooney 7/4 any time.
Prediction: 0-2 (12/1)
