SATURDAY
West Brom v Arsenal 12:45
There's a danger of assuming Arsenal will kick on after their midweek win over Dortmund. That'd be foolish, especially when they're up against a West Brom side with a habit of nicking points off more illustrious visitors. The draw's 13/5. Keeping things nice and predictable in the any times, Berahino's 9/4 and Sanchez 6/5.
Prediction: 1-1 (13/2)
Burnley v Aston Villa
Defensively, Villa were decent against Southampton on Monday night. Didn't offer much going forward though and were reliant on a Fraser Forster error for their goal. They could struggle here too, with the well-organised Burnley 7/5 to record a clean sheet (7/4 on less than 1.5 match goals doesn't look bad either). The home side are 6/5 favourites to make it three wins on the bounce, and with Danny Ings bang in form (7/4 any time) that seems about right.
Prediction: 1-0 (11/2)
Liverpool v Stoke
Fresh from their 'remarkable' midweek performance in drawing against a Bulgarian side that were still amateurs four years ago, Brendan Rodgers will be hoping his side can go one better here and record a first win in six games. They're 8/11 to take all three points, and they
might, but at 11/4 the draw looks loads more appealing. In the scorers, Rickie Lambert seems to have found a bit of form so might be worth a pop at 9/2 for the first or 11/8 any time.
Prediction: 1-1 (13/2)
Man Utd v Hull
Predicting United results certainly hasn't been one for the faint hearted this season, but they've won their last two and are at home to a Hull side in pretty dire form. Should be good for the win then, and the bookies have got them at 1/3 outright. They're possibly overdoing it a touch there, but we were always going to have to delve in to the handicaps... -1 is yours at 5/6 and the -2 (pushing it) 21/10. In the scorers, Rooney's a decent shout at EVS any time but Di Maria's 2/1. Even better.
Prediction: 3-1 (11/1)
QPR v Leicester
Despite being bottom of the table, Rangers' home form hasn't been all that bad. And with Leicester in freefall they should be good for the win here (13/10). The Foxes haven't scored in five games either so 7/4 for the QPR clean sheet is worth a look too. Got to be Charlie Austin in the scorers, he's 9/2 to get the first.
Prediction: 1-0 (7/1)
Swansea v Crystal Palace
Palace beat Liverpool last weekend, but who isn't these days? Prior to that they were on a rotten run of form and with Swansea still in and around the European places it's got to be the home win at 4/5. Can't see it being emphatic enough to start thinking about handicaps, so i'll just draw your gaze towards Sigurdsson any time (15/8) and leave it there.
Prediction: 2-1 (15/2)
West Ham v Newcastle
West Ham have dropped off a bit recently, while Newcastle are going for their sixth straight league win. Home advantage should ensure the Hammers are good for a point (5/2), but 11/10 on them getting all three looks a touch optimistic. Not sure if Sakho and Valencia are fit, and even if they are who's to say Big Sam won't stick with big Andy and big Carlton up front? So in the scorers it'll have to be the boy Perez from Newcastle, 5/2 any time.
Prediction: 1-1 (6/1)
Sunderland v Chelsea 17:30
I've got a hunch, had a premonition. In it, Sunderland frustrate Chelsea and hold out for a well-earned point (7/2). Most likely bollocks of course, so stick with the away win and a -1 handicap at EVS. Costa's 4/7 in the any times (a bit off seeing as he's playing away from home) so it'll have to be 2 or more at 11/4.
Prediction: 0-2 (11/2)
SUNDAY
Southampton v Man City 13:30
Probably not the Southampton win (Big Team innit) but maybe the draw (12/5) if they can keep a lid on Aguero. He's EVS any time, or 5/1 to get 2 or more. Though if you're going down that route then you'd just as well get on City with the -1 handicap at 10/3 as well.
Prediction: 1-1 (6/1)
Tottenham v Everton 16:00
But Everton played on Thursday as well... Luckily Spurs are playing at home so if they do lose (they will) they can just blame it on the fans. Job done. And the away win is 2/1, versus the home at 11/8. Get on it.
