SATURDAY
Chelsea v West Brom
Home win's 2/9, cool. Chelsea aren't exactly tearing teams apart though, are they? Efficient with their winning, so anything more than the -1 handicap at 4/6 might be a touch risky. Diego Costa's properly fit now apparently, and 11/4 on him scoring 2 or more might be worth a go.
Prediction: 2-0 (5/1)
Everton v West Ham
Not saying it's gonna happen, but 7/2 for the away win looks loads more tempting than 5/6 for the home. And the Hammers double chance is 20/21, unbelievable. Probably the draw though (13/5), with a bit of Sakho at 5/2 in the any times.
Prediction: 1-1 (13/2)
Leicester v Sunderland
Leicester could probably do with winning this. Not only are they on a terrible run of form, it's precisely the 'sort of game you need to win to have any hope of staying in this division'. Draw (12/5), probably goalless. Or, under 1.5 goals at 9/4. Then if someone does sneak it you're still covered.
Prediction: 0-0 (9/1)
Man City v Swansea
City at home, mid-table opposition, you can't not back them, even when Swansea's recent form is slightly better. Trouble is, even with the -1 handicap they're only 10/11, and even that sort of margin might be pushing it. 3.5+ match goals? Probably, but it's only 6/5. Gonna have to be Aguero, 5/2 to score first then.
Prediction: 3-1 (10/1)
Newcastle v QPR
If Newcastle win this they could be 4th on Saturday evening, Pardew in! Nothing to suggest they won't either, and 5/6 for the outright or 11/5 with the -1 both seem decent prices. That Ayoze Perez looks a player too, 7/4 any time.
Prediction: 3-1 (14/1)
Stoke v Burnley
Proper teams. It'll probably be raining as well. Not sure how Stoke aren't shorter than 4/6 for the win but there you are, get it on your acca. Other than that though...
Prediction: 2-1 (8/1)
Arsenal v Man Utd 17:30
Whose defence is most fucked? United'll probably shade it personnel-wise, but when it comes to naivety and fragility; Arsenal, no matter who starts. Can't see either side having enough about them to actually win it though, so the draw (12/5). And plenty of goals too. 3.5+ is 13/8 but 4.5 at 7/2 isn't out of the question either, with Sanchez 6/1 to get 2 or more of them.
Prediction: 3-3 (50/1)
SUNDAY
Crystal Palace v Liverpool 13:30
You can sort of understand how Liverpool are odds-on (17/20) for the win here, but is anyone going to actually back it? At 10/11 the Palace double chance is a touch longer, and probably the safer bet. Have a look at 10/3 on the home clean sheet too, the Scousers don't exactly look full of goals at the moment, do they?
Prediction: 1-0 (11/1)
Hull v Tottenham 16:00
Spurs' away form isn't actually that bad, it's more playing in front of the disgruntled home support they have trouble with. Hull aren't exactly flying either so the Tottenham win at 6/5 could be a decent acca pick. Can see it being another low scorer, though maybe not quite under-1.5-at-9/4 low...
Prediction: 0-1 (7/1)
MONDAY
Aston Villa v Southampton 20:00
I've really tried to justify backing Villa to get a point here, but Benteke's suspended, Delph's injured and Senderos and Vlaar are both doubtful. Not gonna happen is it? The Saints are 4/5 outright (another one for the acca) or 2/1 with the -1. Either's good, and 11/10 for the away clean sheet isn't bad either. Got to be Pelle in the scorers, and he's 6/5 any time.
Prediction: 0-2 (7/1)
