SATURDAY
Aston Villa v Liverpool
First of all, under 1.5 goals at 2/1? Villa are more than capable of frustrating the visitors here, perhaps not to the extent of actually beating them but the draw might be worth a go 23/10. Probably the away win though (just about), and that's not bad value either at 5/6. You can keep the scorers.
Prediction: 0-1 (6/1)
Burnley v Crystal Palace
A great win for Palace over Spurs last weekend, but Burnley tend to do alright against the teams around them at Turf Moor. It'll have to be the home win, especially at 11/8. Danny Ings put an end to his mini drought against QPR last time out and at 9/2 looks a good shout to score first.
Prediction: 2-1 (10/1)
Leicester v Stoke
The Foxes have taken 7 points from the last 9 available, and Stoke are pretty inconsistent. That could go either way of course but I'm just about backing the home win at 13/8. Not much between them odds-wise though, with the away win 17/10. A toughie.
Prediction: 2-1 (10/1)
QPR v Man Utd
Word is 'Arry could be out of a job if QPR lose this. Seems the most likely outcome really, and you'd have thought United might have been a touch shorter than 8/13 for the win. BTTS to score of course (4/5, because United's defence) and by extension, Charlie Austin 9/4 any time, but we're dealing in consolations here. Nothing more.
Prediction: 1-3 (12/1)
Swansea v Chelsea
Chelsea have had a few iffy results on the road lately so it's not beyond a well organised Swansea side to nick a draw (3/1). Being real though, no more Bony and the away side will probably sneak it. They're 4/7 outright but you should leave the handicaps well alone. Instead, how about Diego Costa to score first at 7/2?
Prediction: 0-1 (5/1)
Tottenham v Sunderland
Jermain Defoe. Possible debut against his former club, 7/2 any time. Could he? No, probably not. Now Spurs aren't awful at home they should win this fairly comfortably. 8/13 outright isn't bad but 6/4 with the -1 is even better. Tell you who will score, Harry Kane. EVS in the any times.
Prediction: 2-0 (7/1)
Newcastle v Southampton 17:30
The Alderweireld, Schneiderlin and Wanyama injuries have got me thinking Southampton might not keep a clean sheet. Not saying Newcastle will tear them apart, just that we
might be looking at a draw (9/4) rather than a nailed on away win (11/8) by one or two goals to nil. Either's good though.
Prediction: 1-2 (9/1)
SUNDAY
West Ham v Hull 13:30
Hull have taken 6 points from their last 4 games, West Ham just 2. And yet, 8/11 on the home win looks like one of the safer bets of the weekend. To nil most likely (8/5), what with Steve Bruce having run out of strikers. Andy Carroll could do with being a touch longer than EVS in the any times but it's probably still worth a go.
Prediction: 2-0 (7/1)
Man City v Arsenal 16:00
Given the form they're in, City really ought to be a fair bit shorter than 4/5 for the win. So get on that. 4.5+ match goals (3/1) might be a better shout than going heavy on the handicaps though. Both sides have got defensive problems so a reasonably even spread is probably more likely than a hammering. Got to be Sanchez in the scorers, 2/1 any time. Beautiful.
Prediction: 4-2 (40/1)
MONDAY
Everton v West Brom 20:00
The Toffees have improved of late and
should be good for the win here (5/6), but if anyone can nick an unlikely point on the road it's Tony Pulis, and the draw's 23/10. Lukaku's still not firing on all cylinders so it'll have to be Berahino in the any times, 2/1.
