SATURDAY
Sunderland v Liverpool 12:45
Sunderland bloody love a draw, as do Liverpool when they're playing teams they really ought to be beating. Unfortunately, the bookies seem to have realised as much and are only offering 5/2. Don't much fancy picking a scorer for either side so let's leave it there.
Prediction: 1-1 (6/1)
Burnley v QPR
QPR still haven't won on the road this season, not even picked up a point. So, Burnley win, 6/5. There were 5 goals when these sides met at Loftus Road last month so 3.5+ in this one might be worth a go at 5/2. With regards to who'll actually get them, Danny Ings has gone a bit quiet of late so get on Ashley Barnes for the home side at 2/1. For Rangers, Charlie Austin's 7/4.
Prediction: 2-1 (8/1)
Chelsea v Newcastle
As well as Newcastle did in the reverse fixture, John Carver doesn't really seem the sort to be masterminding victories at Stamford Bridge, does he? Chelsea are 7/5 with the -2, which might be a touch optimistic, but with the -1 only 8/15 we're not left with much choice really. Diego Costa's 5/2 to score first or 11/4 to get 2 or more, no need to start getting clever about it...
Prediction: 3-0 (11/2)
Everton v Man City
Can't see City walking it, but given Everton's recent struggles of late 17/20 for the away win seems reasonable enough. Aguero
might be fit, but who'd bother backing him at EVS any time when stand-in striker extraordinaire James Milner's out at 11/4? You know where the smart money's at...
Prediction: 1-2 (15/2)
Leicester v Aston Villa
0-0, so fucking 0-0.
Prediction: 0-0 (15/2)
Swansea v West Ham
Not a great deal between these sides, is there? West Ham won comfortably when they met in December but they won't have such an easy time of it at the Liberty, even with Bony away on international duty/joining City. Sitting on the fence, draw's 12/5. Sigurdsson 5/2 any time looks alright as well.
Prediction: 1-1 (11/2)
West Brom v Hull
If like me you're a believer in the magical powers of Tony Pulis and his magic hat, West Brom for the win! 21/20! They'll most likely keep a clean sheet too, yours at 6/5. And how about under 1.5 match goals at 13/8? Plenty to be getting on with there.
Prediction: 1-0 (5/1)
Crystal Palace v Tottenham 17:30
The idea of a Spurs revival wasn't quite so entrenched when these two drew 0-0 in December, and they're better on their travels anyway. Away win (23/20) regardless of Alan Pardew's glorious homecoming. Nobody's betting on anyone other than Harry Kane in the scorers, 6/5 any time.
Prediction: 1-2 (8/1)
SUNDAY
Arsenal v Stoke 13:30
I can see any Arsenal fans looking to confront Wenger in the dugout or abuse him at a train station being left disappointed here. The CRISES don't tend to run to more than a game at a time these days. 4/9 outright on the home win is sort of decent value really, and that means 5/4 on the -1 handicap. Not saying he will, but 5/1 on Sanchez getting 2 or more beats EVS any time.
Prediction: 2-0 (6/1)
Man Utd v Southampton 16:00
The Saints were robbed (ROBBED!) in the 2-1 defeat at St Mary's last month, and over Christmas finally showed that they're capable of taking points off the big boys. United have drawn 3 of their last 4, so
maybe the same again here? 11/4 if you fancy it. Though at the same time, you can't say fairer than 4/5 on the home win. No-one's particularly standing out in the scorers, but at 5/2 any time Pelle's a nice distance out from EVS.
Prediction: 1-1 (6/1)
ACCA: £5 on wins for Chelsea, City, West Brom, Spurs and Arsenal returns just over £70.
