People are seeing something rather filthy in new Theo Fennell pendant

The latest offering from jewellery designer, Theo Fennell has been causing a bit of a stir online after people thought the pendant it looked like a meaty-looking minge and sparkly clit.

 

The pendant was inspired by the way a goldsmith holds a precious stone, and I guess if you look closely you can still kind of make out the fingers but lets face it - at first glance it's most definitely a blinged-up fanny. Theo Fennell's Instagram pagesimply says the pendant was designed by Lukas Grewenig for their 'Gilded Youth' initiative and was inspired "by the way a goldsmith assesses a stone by placing it between their index and middle finger."



Obviously, the internet was quick to rip into it's obvious design fault.



At least now I know what to get my feminist mates for Christmas.
