Did anyone watch the opening episode of the new series of Peep Show tnite? Gerrard has died, Jez is in therapy, Mark has a new job and Dobby may be movin in. I luv this show its got just enough swearin in it to work, {not over dun boring repetative swearing Chubby Brown style, just trying to get a laugh from the [shocking] language?} its similar to The Thick of It, Malcome Tucker is fuckin gr8 in that, if youve never watched it b4 give it a go, it may seem a bit pppfff at first coz its mostly POV but the script is brilliant! -

Wouldn't have dreamed of missing this last night. It was hysterical. So rare to find a current British comedy that makes me laugh literally out loud and does it frequently. -

I'm currently catching up with the show, I'm in season six at the moment, so I didn't read clitterbugs post (it looked as if it had a few spoilers).
I'm loving the show so far. Its one of the most consistent comedies I've seen, I don't think I've seen one episode which has been rubbish. I only laugh out loud occasionally but I find most of the lines amusing.
Will continue to catch up and then visit this thread again. -

da1only, its alrite m8 no spoilers here, i did a similar thing to you previous to season 8, although ive been watching it for a few years i was given boxed set 1-6 last christmas then got season 7 a little later, so went through them all again over the past few weeks in anticipation of the new series, some brilliant episodes to many to start going into here, Jez n Super Hans are gr8 but my fav is Mark, luv the way he copes with his shitty downtroden life, loosin his women, gettin picked on at work n by kids fuckin sound lol! FantasicMR glad your enjoyin it m8, PARRRRPPP!!! im sure you will understand that but just incase { the truckers horn blow Mark n Jez do} till next week! -

It's not up to the quality of the first 4 seasons, but still pretty decent. The main thing that's bugging me is that Mark's character is turning more and more into a odious prick rather than the awkward but still likeable dickhead of earlier series. -

Peep show is one of my favs love all the series just watched series 7 again the mixed race girl in that series is fit as fuck think she's on the vodaphone adverts too -

Not going to add anything Peep Show wise, just wanted to say I recently downloaded David Mitchell's biog 'Back Story' from Audible, ive been listening to it over the last few days, its read by him in his usual monotone deadpan fashion, some great satire/sarcasm, well worth a listen IMO, also if your into Steve Coogan 'Alan Partridge, I Partridge, lets talk about Alan' is another one worth a listen, that is read by 'Alan' deadpan, I thought it was brilliant, from birth through school, onto working as a Virgin instore DJ, his failed career on telly and ending up doing the grave yard shift on Radio Norwich, will give it another listen one day. -

I am indeed mate, can't wait for it. Sort of glad it's the last series though. The last one was funny but not a scratch on the others and I think they are winding it up at the perfect time. I can't imagine them not going all out on finishing this story and I'm really excited to see how they do it. -
