  The series follows the lives of employees working at a strip club called The Pynk in the fictional city of Chucalissa, Mississippi. P-Valley is an American drama television series created by Katori Hall. The series is an adaptation of Hall's play, Pussy Valley, and follows several people who work at a strip club in the Mississippi Delta. It stars Brandee Evans, Nicco Annan, and Elarica Johnson. It premiered on Starz on July 12, 2020, and was renewed for a second season two weeks after its premiere. P-Valley has received very positive reviews from critics.

  Finally the trailer for season two has been released. I absolutely loved season one. The cinematography and soundtrack are amongst the best on TV. The acting and writing are just as good too. On top of Brandee Evans, Elarica Thompson and Shannon Thornton being the most stunningly beautiful cast on TV. Hopefully it'll continue to gain more commercial and critical success. It'll be interesting to see the various character arcs go this season, due to Autumn now being the owner, the land development being halted, Uncle Clifford just being the manager, Mercedes' return, Mississippi being the number one girl, Lil Murda's music career etc.

  Season two episode one
  
  It gets off to a great start and perfectly picks up the story threads from the end of season one. They also nicely tie in the real world effects of how the pandemic effected the closure of strips clubs. The weight of owning The Pynk is weighing heavily on Autumn's shoulders. Mayor Ruffin has passed, so now the new interim Mayor is still looking to push ahead with the closure of The Pynk and the building of the new casino. Mercedes is still trying to retire and start her new business but the pandemic put that on hold. Andre still has feelings for Autumn. Keyshawn is still in her abusive relationship. Lil Murda is still trying to launch his rap career. Uncle Clifford looks like he might run for Mayor.

  Episode two
  The Pynk hires three new strippers for it's re-re-re-opening, but one can't work the pole and is only hired for her looks. Mercedes pushes herself too far due to the popularity of the two other new strippers, and her desire to stay on her throne. The dynamic between Autumn the owner, Clifford the manager and Mercedes the star stripper continues to barely function. Andre and Corbin place another offer for The Pynk. Andre learns more about Ruffin. Keyshawn makes a big decision. Lil Murda and Clifford have issues to overcome. Clifford celebrates his 40th birthday. The weight of murda night is still weighting heavily on everyone's subconscious. There was also a small blink and you might miss it celebrity cameo.

  Episode three
  Roulette breaks a few of Uncle Clifford's rules. Mercedes struggles with her injury, her relationship with her daughter and gaining investment for her business. Pastor Woodbine opposes Mayor Kyle's run for election. Whisper provides support to Roulette. Andre's marriage continues to deteriorate but a new career opportunity arises. Big Teak faces a confrontation on the Dirty Dozen tour. Big Bone gets a new job at The Pynk. Big L works on a side hustle.

  Episode four
  The Pynk gets shutdown due to covid regulations and has to make some adjustments. Roulette's rule breaking results in an altercation and she opens up about her past. Pastor Woodbine announces her intention to run for Mayor of Chucalissa, and Andre prepares his bid too. Gidget joins Keyshawn on tour. A dark foreboding presence looms over The Pynk, that Autumn and Diamond can both feel. Mercedes opens up to her business partner and shares some of her wisdom. Lil Murda and Big Teak's relationship goes through some ups and downs. Tydell leaves something in his will for Andre. Autumn's intentions are revealed, and everyone is not happy.

  Episode five
  This might be my favourite episode of the series so far. It's centred around Keyshawn and narrated by Uncle Clifford. We delve into her past and experience her current predicaments. Her life in school trying to become a cheerleader and at home with her father, stepmother and stepsisters wasn't easy. Derrick came to her rescue when she was being bullied and took her to the prom. Derrick's upbringing was far from sweet too. In the present the Dirty Dozen tour has a few issues and Woddy steps up to take care of them. Derrick struggles to look after the kids whilst Keyshawn is on tour. I hope Shannon Thornton gains an Emmy nomination and Kadianne Whyte is a star in the making.

  Episode six
  Diamond is having issues in his relationship with Big Bone. Lil Murda gives Big Teak a gift. Uncle Clifford and Big L have an issue with Autumn. Rome's death casts a shadow. Keyshawn is still having problems and is trying to find a solution. Mercedes tries to reconnect with her daughter and her business deal suffers a setback. Roulette is offered a deal that she needs to talk to Whisper about. Autumn attends Andre's mayoral fundraiser in order to negotiate a deal and she gains a new friend along the way. Lil Murda goes to Uncle Clifford for help.

  Episode seven
  Lil Murda finds solace in Uncle Clifford. Ernestine's past history with the Pynk is delved into. Mercedes asks Terricka to make a decision about her future. Autumn provides support to Keyshawn. Pastor Woodbine wasn't always as holy as she now portrays herself to be.

  Episode eight
  Lil Murda does something brutal after a painful experience. Mercedes struggles at work but a ray of hope appears in her personal life. Keyshawn has Autumn's support publicly and privately. Autumn's business meeting takes an unexpected turn. Uncle Clifford falls but he'll get back up. Roulette and Winter have each other's back. Pastor Woodbine and Andre's mayoral campaigns are going in different directions.
