From the guys behind 'The Walking Dead' and about demons, possessions and exorcisms..but a weekly television series..of course it begged to be watched. Im of course talking about the new show 'Outcast' starring Phillip Glennister and some bloe im not familiar with lol. Given all the praise, some hype and the brains behind it im giving it a look. Is anyone else watching the show? Personally im 2 episodes in and assesment so far while the first episode was actually pretty good the second was incredibly dull. To early to say if im gonna stick with the show but am gonna watch the 3rd episode later. Do hope its good.

4 episodes in with this in the uk and its proving to be a split of a show. By that i mean the 1st and 3rd episodes were good whereas 2 and 4 were frankly, pretty shit. Considering the show is plugged as being from the same minds behind 'The Walking Dead' at this stage its gotta be said that this is not nearly as good. The shows leads are interesting enough and its always a joy to see Data / Brent Spiner getting work but apart from that, couldnt give two shits about the other characters or story arcs. Am gonna continue to run with this although at this stage its pure curiosity as opposed to really enjoying the show.

Overall liking Outcast so far. Despite some pacing issues at times the characters are interesting and they are building the story well, currently one episode behind so not fully up to date but it's not holding back where the level violence and darkness is involved. Noticed it has gone on a bit of break at the minute so get chance to actually catch up properly before it returns to screens again.

Yep..found that out as well when went to set it up on the old sky planner. Think its due back next tuesday (supposea one week break can be forgiven..even though its only a 10 episode season so i fail to see the excuse unless of course the us airing coincided with July 4th). For me, the show has got a lot of work to do. I dont dislike the show though and the leads are solid enough. Just think the rest of the cast and their respective sub plots are nothing more than mediocre filler.

Despite my previous claims kof not dislikliking the show, this feels so middle of the road, watching for the sake of something to watch and not because im truly enjoying it..cant be arsed anymore. After yet another 'yeah, ok, whatever' episode cant be bothered anymore. Outcast..im calling it a day with ya.
