  Just picked this up from ASDA today, great movie, brilliant cast, reviews compared it to The Deer Hunter, yes very similar minus the revolver! and started/finished by Pearl Jam's Release.

  Yes, this film looks quite decent and i am a big fan of Christian Bale. I will get this blu-ray soon...and i'll probably come back and tell you if i liked it

  Yeah im a bit of a fan of Bale myself, seen him in some great movies, recently watched American Hustle, was a bit dissapointed but he played a good part, although when the film started i didnt recognise him thought he was Tom Cruise 'Les Grossman, Tropic Thunder' Woody Harrelson was good in it too, a bit mumbley and hard to understand but a right evil inbred bastard! if youve played GTA 5 hes a bit like Trevor Phillips! yeeehaa!

  Was also a bit dissapointed with this movie. The performances were all well done. With the cast the movie has that was to be expected. Just found the story to be lacking. Never really could get into the story but if your a Bale fan then watch it for his perfomance.

  Yeah i only want to watch it for Christian Bale. Probably wont be as good as his previous films. But hey, American Hustle was a flop.
  
  And Trevor from GTA V is a motherfucking gangster.

  I think most people would agree on this film that the performances are all really good and the story is solid, but the film is nothing special. Maybe because it's not that surprising.

  I personally thought this was top notch, Solid performances from all cast members but for the stand out performance was from Woody Harrelson, In the last couple of years he has really came into his own especially with season one of true detective.
