A nursing home in New Haven, Connecticut has been slapped with a hefty fine after four of its residents tested positive for cocaine. Damn, I thought that being in an old people’s home would be dull as fuck but it seems like this lot are living their best life.
According to the Department of Public Health (DPH), the case against RegalCare dates back to April last year when one of the residents tested positive for cocaine after they were seen handing a dollar bill with white powder on it to another person. Ordinarily it wouldn’t be a sketchy sight but the fact that the resident who handed over the dollar bill already had an opioid dependency raised the alarm.
A doctor then ordered room searches and discovered traces of blow in all four rooms. When asked how the residents came to acquire the blow, they said that they had been given it by nurse aide. The nurse aide was later fired. Aww, poor old things - how are they going to get their buzz on now?!
