There has been much outcry over how the Nintendo Switch 2 is practically the same design as the first one. As an iPhone user since they were released I am very much at peace with a lack of change in design, as far as I see it there is only so much you can do with a rectangle, it’s more about the inner workings until humans start working and consuming in a different way.

The Switch 2 is a big bigger, a bit less fiddly on the controller slots, a better kickstand but really it’ll come down to how much more advanced the system is compared to it’s predecessor and I should imagine their intention isn’t to try and cheat the market. I’m buying it for Mario Kart alone, pretty much the reason I bought the last system. For those who love their Switch titles and collections, those games will be backplayable.
