News alert bulletin

Is there any way of having a Bulletin screen or page - a bit like the newsletter where the Admins can put up a news bulletin - I am thinking of the sort of thing that happened today where a number of the Stations were off the air and no one knew why. Not sure how easy it would be to admin but it might be useful for quick updates! Just a thought to help improve things and keep people informed and interested.
