New 'Venom' trailer finally shows Tom Hardy morphing into Venom

It's been two long-ass months since we first got a peek at the upcoming Venom movie that showed Tom Hardy strolling about, riding his motorbike and chilling in a hospital getting a CT scan. But what we never got to see was Tom Hardy's character Eddie Brock becoming Venom, which was all we bloody wanted! Well your patience has finally paid off because finally we get to see what we've all been waiting for.
The latest trailer finally gives fans a glimpse at Eddie morphing into the scariest supervillain of all time - Venom. Eddie is able to morph into Venom after being infected by an alien parasite that needs a host to live. The first host for the venom symbiote is Spider-Man, but as we all saw in Spider-Man 3, Peter Parker gets it out of his system after finding out how dark it can be. It then moves onto journalist Eddie Brock who quickly gains supernatural powers. Check out the epic trailer:
Venom is not be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which includes the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Black Panther, but will instead be part of Sony's Marvel Universe. The movie is in the same universe as the latest Spider-Man movie which starred Tom Holland, sparking rumours that there could be a cross-over down the line. Now that would be bloody amazing!
Venom is due to be released on 4th October 2018. -

wow that was one good trailer, and i didnt know that when he turns into venom that he couldnt control it, makes it alot more interesting and the graphics looked sick to proper looking forward to this -

I'd like to see Sony take the more Snyderverse approach to this movie, keeping it nice and dark. -

This really does needc to be dark with a capital 'D'. All the ingredients appear to be here and have got a good feeling about what Tom Hardy can bring to the role..just so long as it does'nt wind up being fluff just to cater to the kids and snowflakes out there. Getting an antihero vibe from tis version of 'Venom'. Given the facts regarding it's place in the MCU as a whole..how awesome would it be if venom rocked up to help out in the second part of 'infinity war' thats out next year. That could be so awesome. -

Well, the new trailer for 'Venom' dropped a couple of days ago. Where as the first and second trailers showed a lot of promise, this latest seems to ramp things up massivly. Have got a very good feelingg about this film (and Tom Hardy seems like a perfect fit). May actually have to front up the cash and head to my local to see this on its release. -

wow that trailer looked so good, after seeing this it really is like a marvel horror movie, the way he morphs into venom looked so demonic but really good graphics, man what a sick looking movie so far -

Couldn't agree with you more Dony. The 1st couple of traolers showed promise but this latest (and hopefully final )trailer ahead of the films release in october looks so good. Just hope this doesn't wind up getting watered down (need to check outt if this is a 12a or 15 cert..really hoping for a 15). Top notch effects and Hardy looking and sounding just so perfect for the role..could turn out to be something special.
