There's a lot of hype surrounding
Venom at the moment, with heaps of trailers, clips and pictures being thrust into our faces at all angles. To be fair though, it does look bloody good, and we all love a bit of Tom Hardy.
One thing that's making true superhero fans jizz in their pants is that this film looks like it might even live up to the legacy of the comic books, which is always a bonus. In the latest clip Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) can be seen cornered by a load of armed policemen. He is trying to convince them not to shoot, saying: "You do not want to do this, trust me." But, being cops in America, they obviously want to shoot, to which Brock replies: "Alright, have it your own way..." You can probably guess what happens next. Take a look:
Damn. How cool is that morph! The film isn't officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe like
Avengers,
Doctor Strange,
Guardians of the Galaxy, and
Black Panther, but it is instead a part of Sony's Marvel Universe. Even though the film is not part of the MCU, Sony say that it is part of the same universe that the most recent
Spider-Man films exist in, so there's a good chance of a crossover.
The movie is out on October 5th so not long to wait at all.
