  i did see a great trailer last night while staying up to watch some american wrestling live, the film is called a haunted house and its basically one of those spoof movies. This is by Marlon Wayans (who was in the first couple of Scary Movies) but this is a spoof of the paranormal activities i believe, anyway here is the youtube video.
  
  
  
  pretty funny to me, kind of different to these Scary Movies that keep getting released and just lose the comedy value.

  Another re-boot, this time for the Evil Dead slated for release April 12th. (I like a bit of gore...)
  
  Evil Dead is an upcoming 2013 American horror film directed by Fede Alvarez. It is a remake of the 1981 critically acclaimed ***** horror film The Evil Dead, which was written, produced, and directed by Sam Raimi, who co-wrote and produced the remake. It is the fourth installment of The Evil Dead franchise, and the first not to be directed by Raimi and star Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams. The director Fede Alvarez was hand picked by Raimi himself and it is Alvarez's first feature film.
  
  Raimi and Rodo Sayagues co-wrote the script, which was then rewritten by Diablo Cody. The film was produced by Raimi, Campbell and Robert G. Tapert — the producer of the original trilogy.
  
  A remake had been planned by Raimi and Campbell for numerous years, however, in 2007 Campbell stated that the proposed remake was "going nowhere" and "fizzled" due to extremely negative fan reaction. However in 2011, he spoke again about the remake, stating "We are remaking Evil Dead. The script is awesome. The remake's gonna kick ass — you have my word"
  
  Plot
  Mia, a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods.

  Set for release March 1st is Jack The Giant Slayer.
  
  Jack the Giant Slayer (previously titled Jack the Giant Killer) is an upcoming fantasy/adventure film based on the fairy tale.

  If you're a sucker for a chinese fantasy movie and like Jet Li (as I do) then look no further.
  The Sorcerer and the White Snake is being released February 8th.

  It may have been done before in other movies, but if you are up for a bit of alien presence stalking / abduction then DARK SKIES is due for release February 22nd.
  
  Dark Skies is an upcoming American science fiction horror film directed by Scott Stewart, produced by Jason Blum, starring Keri Russell, Josh Hamilton and Dakota Goyo.
  It revolves around a couple trying to save their family from an apparent alien presence who preys on their children.

  May as well post this on this thread (as opposed to creating a new thread just for it, as it is an upcoming film) Kick Ass 2 has recently released it`s first trailer
  
  I still don`t know how to embed trailers in threads, and you have to sign in to actually see it, but looks ace to me, looks like it will be even more entertaining than the first one was.

  Due for release in the UK on the 28th June is Despicable Me 2.
  Steve Carell, Russell Brand, and Miranda Cosgrove reprises their roles. Kristen Wiig, who played Miss Hattie in the first film, voices agent Lucy Wilde. New cast members include Benjamin Bratt as Eduardo and Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom, head of the Anti-Villain League.
  
  PLOT
  Gru is no longer a villain, since saving his three adopted daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes from Vector in the first film (Despicable Me). But his calm and unexciting new life takes an unexpected turn when he is recruited by Lucy Wilde and Silas Ramsbottom and is taken to the headquarters of the Anti-Villain League, a society dedicated to fighting crime on a global scale. There he discovers that there is a new villain called Eduardo on the loose and because Gru was once a villain himself and knows how they think, Silas (who is the League's head), wants Gru to help them fight Eduardo.   I liked the first film, the Minions were awesome, so if you have kids, It has to be a must see, if you haven't borrow some (or maybe not in this day and age lol...) and go see it anyway, or download it from the net...

  Here's a new trailer for The Wolverine , now being released from July 24th, with general release July 26th.
  The Wolverine is an upcoming American/Australian superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character, and is intended to be the sixth instalment in the X-Men film series. Hugh Jackman reprises his role from previous films as the title character, based on the 1982 limited series Wolverine by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller.
