  wow that trailer looked very good lets just hope they dont keep the same music as they did in the series back in the day, i cant wait to see what its like when they first start finding out they got powers

  Ive watched the movie now, theres certain bits that i liked and bits i didnt like, ill give it another 2 weeks before i give my full opinion for people to avoid spoilers. However, the Good deffo out weighs the bad.

  I really want to see this, having grown up when the original series first came out, so am very interested to see how they've changed/evolved things, apart from the obvious, & the blue ranger being a black guy, & the black ranger a white guy

  yeah me to i grew up watching power rangers before i got to old and just didnt bother watching anymore, and didnt the black guy used to be yellow ranger or am i wrong ?

  So i am a massive power rangers fan having watched pretty much most of the different series that have come out over the years bar the latest few series that have come out. I actually went and watched the movie twice at the cinema because i enjoyed it that much. Yes there were some bits that weren't amazing/completely accurate to the original series but the film was still really good. Also Dony in the original series the black guy was the black ranger for the first season and then in the second season he was replaced by a white guy. The yellow ranger was the asian girl in the series.

  Got around to watching 'Power Rangers' the other day and verdict wise, im kinda once the fence. Whilst i didnt really dislike the film (hence watching it to the end), its one i would never feel the need to watch again. Its an odd one because with one hand, early on, the film tries to be that little bit more gritty/darker than the original series, then in the later half of the film, it goes all tv series again (especially during the blink and you miss it final battle). Couple in with this a plot that felt overlong, the cheesey dialogue leaving a bad taste in the mouth and pretty average performances (at best) and whats left. It was an ok switch off but more of a spectacle should have been made of the final fight.
