  Sign me up. Nicolas Cage playing himself in a film with Neil Patrick Harris, Tiffany Haddish and Pedro Pascal is genius. Fun fact Nick's real surname is Coppola. Yeah, like Francis Ford Coppola, director of The Godfather trilogy. Nick is his nephew and Sofia is his cousin. But the coolest thing is that he changed his surname to Cage, in honour of his favourite comic book character Luke Cage.

  Nicolas Cage is a phenomenon, not only did he have a massive hay day for both the 80’s and 90’s but his obscure performances carried him into pop culture and meme culture for the next generation. Although his career did lull from around 2010 with a few bizarre, what would be, straight to DVD releases he still managed to maintain his iconic status. Bring us to current day and Cage has is smasing it again with movies like ‘Mandy’ and ‘Pig’ only to now go full meta and play himself. The man has somehow managed to have a revival even though it seems he never left.
