What a fucking pisstake. I cant believe that Buzzcocks has been cancelled, never to return to free up budget / schedule presumably for more shit. I mean, Rhod didnt do that bad a job. Granted, in my opinion Lamarr was my favourite host and the weekly guest host was a great idea as well. Did hear somewhere though that its viewing figures had really, really dropped so that probably didnt help. BBC, atleast bring it back for a yearly christmas special (they were always the best after all). Goobye Buzzcocks, i for one will miss ya.

Is bloody annoying that BBC cancelled it after all the years it's been on and they finally got a permanent host again. it can't have cost that much to make and the BBC get a lot of taxpayer money for their shows. Which are now basically all soaps and costume dramas, since they recently cancelled this and before that Top Gear.
I'm genuinely curious what the point is in the BBC now, they basically make a handful of shows and cancel all the good stuff.

Couldnt agree with ya more jesslloydfan. It was on for what, 20 odd years and its dropped just like that. Surely if a show has run for that long it automaticaly warrants keeping it going and going. It must have been pretty cheap to make. After all it was always z list comedians, music stars of yester year or stars looking at plugging / putting their face out there as a new album or tour is on the cards. Im not critiscising though, with the odd exception, it was always about the captains, the host and the games anyway.
