  I find the show a little hit and miss nowadays but it seems to hit the mark most weeks. Does anyone else on here watch the show? Does anyone have a fave presenter (long term or guest host)? What do you think of Rhod Gilbert as the new long term host? Thought his openeing episode was a good one. My fave presenter was Mark Lamarr. I thought he was fantastic.

  I miss the Mark Lamarr days and even though I'm not a huge fan or Simon Amstel he did really well. I've not yet seen Rhod Gilbert present it so I can't comment but I don't really like his style of comedy.
  
  When they switched up the presenters it was always hit and miss but that's where it really opened the opportunity for the team captains to play with the show which was really good.

  I miss the Mark Lamarr days as well. As an alternative i did like the guest host concept although it really was hit and miss (why is it the only one that sticks with me Michael Bolton when he did it lol). I really would recommend checking out the first episode of the new series if you get chance, the line up round is hilarious. So far so good with Rhod but its early days. Does anyone have an episode that sticks with them as being a fave. For me it is and most likely always will be the christmas episode from the Lamarr days when The Wurzels and Bad Manners performed christmas songs. I loved that episode. Its just a pity the only vid i can find online of the episode is on youtube and the audio is dodgy.

  Been watching it almost from the beginning, it did occasionally have a miss when it was guest hosts (Westwood was a bloody terrible host). Rhod Gilbert seems to doing a good job presenting so far and he's funny.
  I do wonder why Simon Amstell left though, he never really moved onto do much else after it.

  If you watch his show Grandma's House (I watched it and it was great soothing for a nap) then he explains that he was sick of getting his laughs from being mean and that's not what he wanted to do.

  Nice one FantisticMR and the Boss. That first clip was a bit awkward lol. I really wanted to like Simon Amstell on the show but i just couldnt warm to him. He maintains he was sick of getting laughs from being mean! Remove that element from the show (the comebacks, the circasm) and there would be no point in watching. 2 episodes in with Rhod and im so far impressed. Did anyone see this weeks episode. The identity parade (both rounds)...fantasic.

  So that's why he left then, I can understand that I suppose, still he was funny though.
  I liked Frankie Boyle's stints as guest host, although it was always unlikely that he would ever become permanent host (they probably had to cut half his jokes), liking Rhod Gilbert so far though.

  Amstell is easily my favourite host, I love his sense of humour
