  Incase it doesn't, basically the plan is to make Daredevil,
  followed by Jessica Jones, then Iron Fist, then Luke Cage and they would all be followed by a mini series with a team up event @The Defenders'.
  
  Oh and apparently there is also plans for an Agent Carter show, based on the short film shown on the Iron Man 3 blu-ray for those that haven't seen it, but that i don't believe will be developed for NetFlix.
  
  Sounds interesting to me, and i like Daredevil (the comic character, not so much the film) so will be good to see a second chance for the character (even if it is on tv and not a film). Some of the other characters are not very well known though so don't have the instant name recognition.
  
  Thoughts?

  You had me excited for a moment there that this was 4 other new shows.
  
  Again it's Marvel setting everything up individually and bringing all the pieces together at the end.
  
  Personally not all that bothered about Luke Cage and Jessica Jones but DD and Iron Fist could be interesting. I think a series would let DD play off more of the Matt Murdock as a lawyer stuff (I know some people say the extended cut of DD is better because it shows more of the lawyer stuff but it's still just as shit).

  Drew Goddard seems like a good choice as showrunner, Cabin in the woods is excellent so it leads me to believe he will do a decent take on the character.

  Don't hate on affleck, he was given a shit script and a camp movie set up. I think this series could be quality if they go all out with it and do go after the same avengers fanbase. This should be very dark and gritty, would like to have seen josh hartnett in this instead of penny dreadful.

  They are definitely taking it more seriously than the film did, i think the reason for a tv series is to introduce the character properly with the inevitable move into a film that will happen if the Daredevil series gains popularity. Affleck doesn't deserve all the blame for the Daredevil film but he was not good in it, the actor in the series should do better.

  Yeah I'll agree he wasn't very good in it, but i dont there's any actor that would have been able to do much to save that film. Hopefully it will be better than agents of shield I forced myself to watch 6 episodes couldn't take anymore.

  The original Daredevil film was just badly handled in general, it's why i wouldn't totally blame Affleck for it, the best thing in that was Colin Farrell's Bullseye.
  Agents of Shield changes quite a lot part way through and gets more momentum (but then i liked it anyway).

  Vincent D'onofrio was in Full Metal Jacket as the guy who commits suicide during training (the one who everyone beats up) and he's the main detective in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. And he was fantastic in both.
  I'm getting quite high hopes for Daredevil.

  Never seen any Law and Order show, but i have seen Full Metal Jacket so remember his part in that (just didn't realise that was him). I think he'll make an interesting villian.
  The cast is looking good so far, undoubtedly there will be more cast announced, almost definitely more villians.

  Deborah Ann woll was one of the only reasons I watched any of true blood, she's hot. I wonder what kinda budget netflix are gonna have for these shows, i can't see it being that big.
