True crime documentaries have really taken off in the last few years and loads have been popping up since the popularity of
Making a Murderer catapulted the genre into the spotlight. Although nothing has really come along to rival
Making a Murderer just yet, thus new
Netflix documentary called
Tell Me Who I Am might just be the thing to blow all the other shows out of the water.
The documentary tells the story of Alex Lewis, an 18-year-old who fell into a coma after a motorcycle accident. When he woke up, Alex couldn’t remember anything about his life except that the person opposite him was his twin brother Marcus. Alex relied on Marcus to fill in the gaps in his memory, but Marcus decided to keep a dark family secret that threatened to mess with Alex’s true identity. Sounds nuts right? Check out the trailer:
How insane does that look?! Just watching a minute of that had me on the edge of my seat. I’m feeling bad for both guys right now but that’ll probably change when I watch the documentary. Tell Me Who I Am premiers on
Netflix on October 18th. Can’t wait!
