  Picked up this game a couple of days ago, after the much disspointing My Career mode on last years NBA 2K16, where they made a big deal of the story on MyCareer as it was written by Spike Lee, however it was pretty bad as it just ended abruptly,
  
  This years MyCareer has your player and a group of 2 other Rookies, one played by Michael B Jordan (Creed) is a much more better My Career mode. Im halfway though it and the story is incredible, im so caught up in this mode that i havnt yet to play any other game mode.
  
  Oh and there is a free NBA 2k17 prelude which you can download and play, and its the easy gamerscore for those that are into that lol

  good post, i thought i was the only one on here who plays nba 2k, and your so right about the spike lee story they hyped it up like it was gona be like a movie and was short and not much to it, but this year its really good and makes u wana keep playing my career to unlock badges and upgrades for your player, and u goto check out park mode, team up with your friends and play against others like u

  love the NBA 2K series, its much better than EA Sports NBA Live, playing through the career mode, trying to go to every practice session to level up my stats, the quickest way to do that is do the vertical jump in the weight room. Im up to January in my career.

  yeah the vertical jump is the quickest but dont for get to shoot three throws at team practice or u will brick alot of them in the park and my career , and every drill adds a different attribute to your player, they made the game really good, and i think nba live is done they didnt even bring a game out this year

  they brought it out last year, i tried it on EA Access but i played about 10 minutes to know i shouldnt have bothered.
  
  still halfway through my career, hoping to finish the first season soon, with Fifa out aswell my time is split

  i know me to nba live felt worse than nba live 10 on the xbox 360, it wasnt smooth at all and i could run up the court and make every shot, and im telling u nba 2k17 takes up alot of your time if u trying to complete it

  Just reached the All Star weekend, involved in all 4 events which is great, the rookies and rising stars game, the 3 point contest, the dunk contest and the All Star game itself. i think the dunk contest was the first reason i really enjoyed ever playing NBA 2K way back in the day, jumping over Cars and various other obstacles was great fun lol

  i failed at the dunk contest its so hard to do a good dunk but i killed the 3 point contest , and what player did u make, i made a point guard playmaker 6 ft he fast as hell to

  I recently picked this game up, but it had been sitting on my tv stand for about a week, and i had downloaded the my player prelude on xbox one, wondering what updates they have done for myplayer the only game mode i play on this game

  played through the prelude, so far a interesting gate way story, instead of building yourself for the nba draft as previous games, you start as a undrafted rookie, trying to get a place on a NBA team, this time round you get to pick your favourite team and you end up on that team, unlike previous games as at least for the first season you could wind up on ANY NBA team and have to play on that team for at least a year
