  I finally got round to watching Mrs Browns Boys D'Movie earlier today. Has anyone else on here seen it? Im a fan of the bbc series but was reluctant to rush to the cinema to see the movie. Reports that came back were that it wasnt a patch on the tv series. Regret to say after watching the movie that it isnt that great. It made me laugh a couple of times but a couple of times just doesnt cut it. A reeal shame. What did everyone else think? Personally, stick to the tv series.

  ive never seen it but it looks absolutely terrible, every time the advert comes on i think it looks just awful. I never thought the series looked good either but even so most light comedy tv series seem to have poor movie equivalents

  I know sahakosa. I dont know why the powers that be just cant seem to get it right. Mrs Brown Boys D'Movie was bad but not atrocious. Still best avoided though. Accolade of the worst televised comedy more spin off falls to The Harry Hill Movie. Could not believe what i was watching. What a god awful piece of s**t that was. Save ypur time and sanity and avoid at all costs. Can anyone else think of any dire movie spin offs of tv comedy series?

  Talking of Mrs Brown's Boys, you wait almost an entire year for a new episode of such a beloved show..and then they turn out some unfunny, substandard drivel. Compared to the series and a couple of the previous christmas episodes this was nowhere near on par..didnt laugh once. That tree was just shite this time round. A real shame, fingers crossed the new years day episode is a lot, lot better.

  Well, thank feck for that. To describe yesterdays new years episode, THATS NICE. Now that was more like it, i was in stitches. Has anyone else watched it? What did you think? Oh, i was crying with laughter amost the whole way once the guy appeared on the scene who *spoilers* took a fancy to Agnes. Everyline, expression, mannerism from the both of them..genius (more than makes up for the below par christmas day episode). Perhaps the show has not run out of steam after all.
