  As humiliateme said it's not armmegedon, but at the risk of making it too easy yes it is a film with bruce willis in it, that is the only hint i'm giving right now mate, that has probably already made it too easy to guess.

  well the only other film that i can remember is the film with chris tucker i think i have the right one by any chance is it fifth element
  
  ps do you remember chris tucker before this film in rush hour after he did fifth element his voice changed to a squeaky voice

  You are indeed correct mate, it is from fifth element, i really thought it would last longer than that, i thought it would of been harder to guess than that, clearly i was totally wrong it looks like it's you up next then mate.

  i was pretty definite and after your reply i'm sure i know it but still have no idea of what i could post so leaving it for someone else. it is a pretty good film actually, don't think i would watch again but i remember liking it when i first watched it

  Now this is a pretty much a total guess based on nothing really, and i know it's an old film just not sure how old, singing in the rain? Not even entirely sure thats the title that may just be a part from the film.
  I won't be suprised if i'm totally wrong i get the feeling the film the quote is from is before my time.
