Moon Landing Part Two

A company has outlined its plans to land a robotic probe on the moon in 10 years time all going to be done via donations from the public. It wants to raise £500m for the project.



Donors will be able to have photos, text and their DNA included in a time capsule which will then be buried under the lunar surface. Lunar Mission One, as it's called, will aim to survey the Moon's South Pole to see if any sort of base can be set up.

In the next month they hope to raise £600,000 using Kickstarter which will fund the initial phase of the project. Funds will come from the public and they can buy digital storage space on the lander.

The lander will also contain a public digital archive of our history which will be compiled as a legacy if we become extinct.

This looks to be very interesting.
