Midweek cheers...
Arsenal
If Nicklas Bendtner's chipping in then something must be going right. Truth is, my old nan would probably score a few with that midfield behind her. Giroud got his rest, another 3 points on the board and another clean sheet. Job done.
Everton
Roberto Martinez did at the first attempt what David Moyes never managed in 11 years, he went to Old Trafford and got a win.
Crystal Palace
A massive win, and the Eagles are right back in the mix. Tony Pulis has still got a big job on in trying to keep them up, but West Ham are just 3 points away now. Stoke are only 4 off as well...
Liverpool
I say Liverpool, Suarez really. Being a one-man team is forgivable when the one man is this good.
Swansea
They don't dish out too many hammerings, so to stick 3 past a Newcastle side going for their 5th win in a row was pretty impressive. The fact that they did it without the injured Michu and Wilfried Bony is even more remarkable. 8 points clear of the bottom 3 now too.
Man City
They almost threw it away at the end, but an away win! Rejoice.
Midweek jeers...
Man Utd
It's probably safe to say the title's gone now. Here's a fun stat, in winning the league last year they dropped just 25 points all season. 14 games in to this campaign and 20 have slipped away already.
Sunderland
Ran Chelsea close but they're starting to look a bit adrift down there now.
West Ham
Rumour has it Sam Allardyce could be the next Premier League manager out of a job. It wouldn't be a massive shock.
Southampton
The Saints dominated possession and had more than enough chances to see Villa off. Only one stats that counts though and they've lost 3 on the bounce now. The injury list is mounting too.
Norwich
Yes Suarez was unplayable but these heavy defeats aren't doing their goal difference much good. Could prove costly come the end of the season.
Anything else?
