It's been over a year since we last got to see a bunch of irritating Instagram influencers scrambling for validation but we’re here again. ITV have confirmed the first bunch of contestants who will be heading into the Love Island villa, starting with PE teacher Hugo Hammond from Hampshire.

Then there’s Sharon Gaffka, a civil servant for the Department for Transport and Aaron Francis, an events host.

Also announced was 21-year-old Liberty Poole, a waitress at Nando's and Kaz Kamwi, an Essex fashion blogger.

Joining the hot totty is Scottish glamour model Shannon Singh, Jake Cornish, a diver from Weston-super-Mare, 25-year-old Chloe Burrows and 26-year-old Faye Winter, a lettings manager from Devon.

There you have it. Who do you want to see getting frisky with one of their fellow islanders? I’m going for Liberty. I love a ditsy blonde.
