Matt Hancock's article about loving Grime music has resurfaced

Pudding-faced muppet Matt Hancock is the name on everyone’s lips today but it’s not for anything to do with Covid-19 or budget cuts. An article from 2017 has just resurfaced where Hancock admits to being a huge fan of grime music and people can’t get their heads around it. 

 

This is the article where the 42-year-old Secretary of State for Health and Social Care wrote about his love for grime: 
 

As a grime fan, I know the power of the UK’s urban music scene. I have the great honour of championing British music around the world. As we look out across the globe as a nation, our music is one of our strongest calling cards. 
From classical to pop, punk to grime, the UK’s music is loved all over the world. It hardly needs saying that this dominance is down to the ingenuity and creativity of British artists. So it is hugely important that music reflects the diversity of modern Britain.
The sounds of Skepta and Lady Leshurr are making waves across the world.

Err, okay?!?! I just find it hard to believe that Matt Hancock comes home after a long day at Parliament and sticks on a bit of Skepta.  Apparently when asked to name a Skepta song he struggled to think of one. Hmm, me thinks he’s telling porky pies. Twitter wasn’t havin it either:
