  I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothing, but the original Mary Poppins is legit one of the greatest films of all time!  I even watched (and enjoyed) Saving Mr Banks, a film about the making of that film.  
  
  So imagine my excitement when I learnt that Disney were finally getting around to a sequel, a whole 54 years after the original.  They sure took their time but Mary Poppins Returns, with Emily Blunt in the title role, is due in cinemas just before for Christmas.
  
  And the first teaser trailer has just been released!

  Isn’t this basically just a remake of the original? Strange posh woman drops in from the sky and weirdly trusting people think they are the perfect person to trust with their kids. They could go really dark with the ending if they wanted to, I’d pay to watch the dark version though probably wouldn’t be great for a family audience.

  Sorry, I am late. While this incarnation look's brilliant, I somewhat recall enjoying the original. (I have not seen it for year's, I do remember the Penguin dance. lol!!) I do want to see Saving Mr Banks.

  I think it's possible in this one that she meets up with the kids that have grown older now, bit like Hook.

  Fucking Mary Poppins..hmm, im intrigued. I wonder if she would bring her brolly to proceedings. That and she wouldn't require a spoonfull of sugar to help her medicine go down..she finds plenty of jizz to help the ol' benolin go down the pipe haha. I was kinda indifferent about the original film. While i acknowledge that its a legendary film, destined to be remembered forever, tbh while i was content to watch it way back when, i dont feel the need to rewatch it. Did really enjoy 'Saving Mr Banks' though. This sequel im bound to be subjected to once available on home release but wont be shelling out cinema prices for this.
