  Yeah the dynamic with mac is good, hopefully that will still be there in the second half of the series. It's very hard to pin down exactly whose side Ward is on now, aside from his own.

  I'm choosing to believe that Ward is on his own side.
  I think he honestly wanted to try and help Skye with her father but I don't think she needs that now.
  
  And what with what has happened now I don't think she honestly cares about him anymore. Well I hope she doesn't.

  Yeah you can see he's clearly on his own side, but he suggested he was working with Coulson, and Hydra. But then most of that was either via Skye or seemingly for Skye. What she did to him seems to suggest she doesn't harbour much attachment to him at the end of the mid season finale.

  Yeah she seemed like she was trying to act as if she was using him - but that's just an angle I can't buy.
  She's not THAT good an agent and he's been this kind of stuff for years.

  I couldn't help it but I watched all of series 2. Don't worry I won't spoil nothing but it's so much better than series one apart from the ending major let down

  I'd be impressed if you had seen all of season 2 yet. Given that it's currently on it's midseason break.
  It's coming back in March then we can judge it completely against season 1 (we all know second season is better anyway).

  Thought I'd revive this thread, been inactive for a while. Whose been watching the latest season?
  
  Personally I find this gets better with each passing series, they're constantly building on the mythology. And interested to see where they can take a certain character after the latest episode (I'm avoiding spoilers but he's the character that got much more interesting about halfway through season 1) and hoping to see more of the metal melting guy in action (had a good moment in what was the mid season finale in the US).

  Hopefully E4 will not wait months to show it like they did with this season, I'd prefer it wasn't on E4 at all (would rather Netflix, Fox or Sky who wouldn't dump it on Sunday.

  Really enjoying Agents of Shield as well JLF, it's apparently going to run for 5 seasons
  
  Keeps getting better & better, the last 2 seasons were linked to events going on in the films, but as far as i'm aware there are none in season 3
  
  There's going to be an Inhumans movie in 2019 I think

  I'll be perfectly happy if it runs for more than 5, as long as it keeps the same quality. 
  
  The new series really is the best yet, i hope they keep Lincoln and the metal melting guy around for more episodes from now on (forget the character's name). 
  There's always been links to the films. Think it had an episode linked to Thor: Dark world in season 1, along obviously with Winter soldier (which changed the show dramatically, and for the better). Season 2 had links to Age of ultron (no Ant-man, but that had no world altering event). And Civil War's events i'm sure will play a role in the show (whether Doctor Strange will is a mystery).
  Some fans seem to dislike that they don't have more cameos from the big stars of the film, but i think too many of them would be a detriment to the show anyway.
  
  Not sure if it'll happen but a cameo from Skye/Daisy/Quake (pick your name of choice lol) would be good to see have a cameo in the Inhumans movie though, since they've been building the Inhuman story well and continue to.

  I agree, would be happy if it ran longer than 5 seasons, was just something I read, that it had only been slated for 5
  
  Yeah Lincoln's character seems cool, kind of hoping there's an episode that explores his backstory, how he became an inhuman
  
  The metal melting guy is Joey, don't think he has a name to suit his ability yet?
