I do quite enjoy a "what if" graphic novel, my fave being what if Superman landed in the USSR and became the hero of the soviets, check it out if you get a chance.

The new Disney+ service which of course will be brimming with Marvel content is going to feature animated 'What If' scenarios, detailing if the narratives of the superheroes we know or the people that surround them, went in a similar but different direction. Check out the breakdown.

Something I've been pondering since the first Guardians of the galaxy. What if? What if Star Lord was black? Nothing. Nothing changes.

I will admit I do like the look of this though however, I won't be shelling out on Disney+ until ABC (Owned by Disney) tell us what they have on Epstein goddammit! And yes, I do sound pretty tinfoil hat esque, I know.

Looks pretty fun and just like the what if comics. Would be interested to give this a look when comes out but not able to find a release date yet seen, but love all the different ideas there could do with this. Zombie Captain America, the doctor strange one looks like it could be a strong one, I like that they have done a captain Britain one with Pegg Carter wasn't expecting it lol.  kinda sad they didn't do this as real one as a special Disney + series as done Loki, falcon and winter solider, Wanda vision, but animated should still be fine and they can do a lot with it.

They have finally have a release date for What If series this Wed 11th August 2021 as there as been a new trailer released which looks pretty good actually Tony Stark scene from iron man with Black Panther turning up out of nowhere lol. You see Iron Man and Captain America as zombies in this one.  It for some reason even Howard the Duck is in it and not sure what the Loki story is all about and vision is also in this a surprise. I Look like they added in quite a lot into this series not sure how many episode there will be. Mostly likely I will give this a look.

I'm actually really excited to see What If..?, the concept is cool and has tons of possibilities. Due to it being an animated anthology TV show gives it the opportunity to be visually adventurous, go to any part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and focus on characters that have only briefly appeared in the live action films so far. It would be amazing to see Hayley Atwell return in a live action Marvel film or TV show one day and become Captain Carter.

I was really impressed with the first episode of What if..? and I'm excited to see the remaining 8 episodes. It neatly packed an origin story into half an hour and the ending had an emotional impact with enough of a loose end to continue. It'll be interesting to see how all the episodes tie together into one multiversal story arc.

Episode 2 of What If...? was pretty cool and I like how it was an intergalactic heist mission. Making T'Challa into Star Lord was interesting because he shed the responsibility of being a King, and his influence also made the Ravagers more moral. So it ends up leading to a new Guardians of the Galaxy team that includes heroic versions of Nebula, Yondu and Thanos. The addition of an even more villainous Collector was brilliant. The fight scenes and and visual style are a match made in heaven that live action films or TV shows couldn't do. The cameos from Howard the Duck and Cosmo the dog are great too. The final scene with Ego and Peter Quill looks like it'll lead into a major plot point at the end of this series. I'm excited to see the remaining episodes and how the Multiverse Avengers are formed and who they will need to fight at the end.
