  It looks like they've based some of the storyline on the Matt Fraction comic, and that's brilliant because it is amazing and I highly recommend that everyone should read it. Steinfeld is the perfect choice to play Kate Bishop. She was amazing in the remake of True Grit. Setting it during Christmas and releasing it during the winter is perfect too. It feels like they can use comedic elements from stuff like Home Alone, but also lean into the darker parts of when Hawkeye became Ronin, and how he has to deal with the repercussions of his actions.

  Hailee Steinfeld is a superstar. I really enjoyed the first two episodes. The opening scene focused on Kate Bishop and why she became an archer. The next scene then focused on Clint's PTSD after Endgame. I need Disney to make Rogers: The Musical into a one-off standalone TV episode. The tracksuit mafia, Echo and Swordsman are great too. This was a solid start to this six episode series.

  I really enjoyed episode three. The origin story of Echo was great and made me want to know more about her and her world. So I'm really excited for her upcoming Disney+ show now. The action scenes in this episode were fantastic, especially the part when something big happens. The use of the camera in one scene was great, as well as the score too. The way the audio was used as a storytelling device was genius. And the final scene perfectly teed up the next episode.

  Another solid episode. It picked up right after last week's cliff-hanger. The two main plots got tied together, and the surprise cameo wasn't the one people thought it might be, but the one we knew it would be. With only two episodes left, it looks like it'll finish with aplomb. And also leave us nicely in a position where more stories can be told with these characters in future TV shows and films. Steinfeld really is a star and plays her role pitch perfectly. Renner continues to show further layers to a character that only started out with a brief cameo in Thor. Cox takes my breath away every time she appears on screen. Dalton and Farmiga are effortlessly intriguing. The LARP crew are hilarious and need to be protected at all costs LOL.

  What an episode. And that's even before we got to the cameo that everyone thought we might get in episode four. Florence Pugh is a superstar, and I can't wait for her and Haliee to team up in an Avengers film. Their scene together was brilliant. The opening scene was amazing and gave so much more depth to Yelena. And the way she exits a scene is so cool. Clint going full Ronin versus the tracksuit mafia and Echo was beautifully choreographed. "Christmas in Hollis" by Run DMC being listened to by the Tracksuit Mafia on the radio in their truck was genius. I need Grills and the other LARPers to make more cameos in other MCU stuff. When it was first announced, most people said what is the point of Hawkeye getting his own TV show. Well I hope those people are now eating humble pie, because they've given us Clint dealing with the death of Natasha, his remorse for doing what he did as Ronin, a new hero in Kate Bishop, more of Yelena Belova, an new anti-hero in Maya Lopez and now the icing on the cake with the return of a much loved villain from a Netflix MCU TV show. Co-ordinating this episode to be released on the same day as Spider-Man: No Way Home is is like playing 6D chess. Kevin Feige and the team at Marvel Studios are geniuses.

  That was a really satisfying conclusion. The entire cast really delivered, and the writers and directors did too. I'm really looking forward to seeing Renner, Steinfeld, Pugh, Farmiga, Dalton, D'Onofrio and Cox in the MCU again. I'd love to see Bert & Bertie direct a MCU film too. Now that Kingpin was in Hawkeye and Cox was in Spider-Man: No Way Home, I guess it's only a matter of time until a DareDevil film or TV show is officially announced. But I guess they might appear in the Echo TV show before then. The confirmation that Cardellini was a former agent of shield was really cool, and it'd be great if she gets more appearances in stuff too. The Rogers: The Musical post-credit scene was absolutely brilliant, and impossible not to sing along to. I guess they'll officially announce when the next Disney+ is going to be released at some point in January. And I think it'll come out before Dr Strange: Multiverse of Madness in May. It'll probably She-Hulk. I think Moon Knight, Secret Invasion and Ms Marvel will come out later in 2022, after Thor: Love and Thunder comes out in July.
