  Netflix have just released the the official trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist which will launch globally on Netflix on Friday 17th March.
  
  
  
  The show tells the story of Billionaire Danny Rand after he mysteriously returns to New York City after being missing for fifteen years. Danny is determined to reclaim his birthright and family company but must fight against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the power of the fiery Iron Fist.

  Like the look of this, looks different to the previous Marvel Netflix shows while still seemingly maintaining the darker tone. Finn (whatever his last name is if that's even his first) looks the part at least. The appearance of Madame Gau (think that was the character's name) from Daredevil should add to the connected story between them. And the other Marvel netflix shows have all been great so chances are high this will be good.

  So i have seen both DareDevil and Jessica Jones but have yet to watch Luke Cage even though i have had it downloaded for a while. This is the one i have been looking forward to most though. Iron fist is just a cool character plus it reminds me of One Punch Man and i like that. Overall series should be good going off the others just waiting to see how it all connects and then the Defenders later in the year.

  a marvel martial arts netflix series just sounds really good, trailer was good to its got me really interested, cant wait until the 17 march so i can watch this one i think it will be good

  Gonna have to agree to disagree as far as Daredevil and Jessica Jones goes, Jesslloydfan, i was bored by both (and subsequently havnt even given Luke Cage the time of day). That aside, i like the lokk and the premise here so im almost certainly gonna jump on the band wagon come mid march and give this a looksee..but given the other marvel shows to date (yes, including agents of sheild whi ch i also didnt enjoy), im going into this a sceptic hoping to be pleasently suprised.

  im in the middle of watching jessica jones right now pretty good, dare devil was good to so far but as for luke cage dont even waste your time coop its not that good if u ask me

  I do far more prefer the DC tv shows. Whilst they are not all that dark (with the exception being Gotham and Arrow on the odd occassion), infact sometimes they verge on the fluff..but regardless i find them entertaining. I loved the idea of Marvel taking a stab at their less conventional, more down to earth superheroes but for me that has come at a price..for me thay are dull of the highest order. I refally wanted to like Jessica Jones but half way through i had to give up, i was bored to tears. Im hoping Iron Fist bucks that trend. Speaking of, i wonder when 'The Punisher' tv series is gonna see he light of day? Enjoyed the films, like the idea, have the t-shirt.

  Looking forward to this show now, i liked how it looked in the trailer. Plus just finished 'Luke Cage', and it's very good by the way for anyone whose not seen it. So looking forward to seeing the last of the solo shows before the big team up in the Defenders. Colleen Wing looks like a great supporting character in this too (they released a clip of her in action recently).

  I have to agree with you there Gym. I am really looking forward to the Punisher TV show because he was really good in season 2 of DareDevil and Jon Bernthal was amazing as the character. He is just perfect for the role. As for the other Defenders shows like i said i have not yet seen Luke Cage but i have seen DareDevil and Jessica Jones. Jessica Jones was good just a bit slow to start off with but DareDevil is just great all round and my favourite so far. I am hoping Iron Fist can take this spot though.

  I cant speak for Jon Bernthals performance as the punisher whilst appearing in Daredevil season 2 as never made it past around half way through season 1 of Daredevil. Take it that its safe to assume that he put in a good turn? As i say, being a fan of the character and his previous onscreen tales (yes..even the Dolph Lundgren original as well lol), that alone means im gonna give this a chance. That said all i can seem to find at the moment is confirmation that the show is going to air this year.
