  One of Marvel's planned Netflix shows, to come after Luke Cage. Has been cast, Finn Jones of Game of thrones (he plays Loras Tyrell, which probably doesn't bode well for his character in that if he needs time off to film this).

  Strangely this decision has upset some people, because it seems some people decided that the character should be asian. They cast a white actor to play a white character, those monsters.
  
  Thought that would be worth sharing for those that are interested in the Marvel Netflix shows.

  Thanks for posting this, jesslloydfan. I wasnt even aware of the existence of a marvel character / comic called iron fist. Have just had a look online and, if pulled off right, has the potentail to be a great show. The guy who plays Lores Tyrell as Iron Fist though..really not getting a martail arts master vibe from him but, given the success of the netflix / marvel shows to date its a pretty safe bet the powers that be know what they are doing). It may not bode well for Lores in GoT, not fussed though, he is a bit of a drip and none of the Tyrell's (if memory serves) have been bumped off yet since they first appeared (the gran is my fave tyrell character anyway, the other Tyrells can do one lol).

  Well he is lesser known but there's potential for a good show. To be fair Charlie Cox (daredevil) never came off as a fighter before Daredevil, choreographers and trainers for big shows like that can make them look the part and teach them enough to look convincing.
  Well Loras was underused, but he never got that much attention in the Game of thrones books either, so that's consistent over both.

  He didnt receive much attention in the books either..frankly, im not suprised. He is a bit of a drip in the show afer all and for me, very much surplus to requirements so think he could do with being disposed of. That is a valid point jesslloydfan, with the right choreographers and trainers he may be able to pull a believable martial arts master out of the bag.

  A bit of random news about this, seems the lead actor is commited. Taken on a pretty big training regime, martial arts training, weights and Buddhism (not sure why that applies), link:

  So he should look convincing once the show starts filming.

  One looks like the villain (Wenham, who i think was previously in Lord of the rings) and a female good character.
  I'll be honest this isn't a character i know as well as others, but sounds like it'll make an interesting show and not been disappointed by Marvel's shows so far.

  Marvel have released a first look at Iron Fist at Comic Con, not long but it's an interesting tease and get a brief glimpse at the former Loras Tyrell as Danny Rand. See the trailer below:
  
  No release date for this one, I'm assuming this will be the next show after the upcoming Luke Cage (also announced a third season of Daredevil, but that's early stages).
  
  Side note: First tease trailer for The Defenders, literally no footage for this bit will just stick it on the end of the post

  Well, as teasers go that was a bit 'Meh'. Will almost certainly give the show a look once it appears though. Spoiler : safe to assume Lores can devote the bulk of his attentions on this given events in GoT lol. Just hoppe, for me, that it turns out to be better than Daredevil, Agents of shield, Jessica Jones etc.. (none of which have i stuck with).
